I build bamboo fly rods using classic tapers from well known builders such as Cattanach, Garrison, Payne, Young and others.  Bamboo culms are from The Bamboo Broker.  Some of the vendors I use are REC, Golden Witch and Bellinger.   All bamboo is hand planed with the exception of using a Bellinger Little Giant to create the initial 60 degree taper.
